Rhapsody on the Outlaw Ocean

I produced the trailer for this original animated musical documentary with Intermission Film.
This trailer presented the challenge of combining three very unique genres into one groundbreaking concept, and it was mine and the editor's task to make sure each genre had an equal moment to shine.
We also came up with the idea of featuring the Journalist and Filmmaker duo's real-world footage to ground the feature's story in reality and make it clear that the tales being told are based on real stories that they documented over the years. This resulted in a moving and multi-dimensional story that breaks boundaries on all fronts.
